Here at Ilkley IT Services, we’re a friendly team who offer advanced IT knowledge and skills in a straight forward way for our clients. Which is why we get 95% of our new business coming via recommendations from existing clients.

Ilkley IT was founded in 2005, and since then we’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the most successful businesses in the area.

Our ethos has been to offer proactive IT services and support throughout the whole of the Ilkley, Keighley, Skipton and Otley area, and we’d like to think that our help, advice and support has contributed to our customers’ success.

After starting my professional career at a software company on the helpdesk and then working my way up to IT manager, my role in those early days allowed me to understand what it meant to support not only customers but also end-users within the company.

In 2005 I co-founded Ilkley IT Services to offer my range of IT skills, provide great customer service, and help customers understand technology in a straightforward, non-confusing way.

Since then, I have steadily grown the company taking on many local businesses, with most of those coming to us for our great customer service and product knowledge. Delivering the most efficient customer support possible is still, and always will be, one of our highest priorities at Ilkley IT Services.

It’s all backed up by our commitment to investment in cutting-edge tools. I’m always keen to speak with companies about their current IT setup and how we might be able to help improve it.

Mark – Senior IT Technician

Mark joined the company in 2021 and has a wealth of experience in many areas of IT. Including servers, networking, Azure, Microsoft 365 migrations, plus much more. Mark also has a keen interest in cyber security and is helping our customers protect themselves from the many threats businesses face online.

Mark is a keen cyclist and can be regularly found on one of the many cycle tracks the area has to offer.

Matthew – IT Technician

Matthew joined Ilkley IT in 2021 and has quickly settled into helping customers with their day to day queries.

Matthew is a big animal lover and loves a bit of FIFA. He also loves live sport and is a big Man Utd Fan.

Archie – IT Technician

Archie is our newest recruit and is part of our first-line helpdesk, helping our clients’ users resolve their day-to-day queries.

Archie recently completed his IT apprenticeship and is now keen to continue his training while supporting our clients.


Cheryl Archer

Cheryl – Bookkeeper

Cheryl is our numbers wizard and keeps our accounts up to date. 

Cheryl is a big dog lover and has a cocker spaniel to keep her busy outside of work.


Louise – Administrator

When it comes to organising the office, nobody does it better than Louise. If it’s a none tech task she’ll complete it in a fraction of the time anyone else can. Just don’t ask her any technical questions!

When her young daughter is tucked up in bed, Louise loves to watch a good crime drama or horror film!

Dexter – Food Inspector

Dexter’s main role is to look cute and offer to eat anyone’s snacks or lunch on their behalf. Looking cute is his main weapon to persuade humans to give him food. It’s very effective. 

When Dexter is not in the office, doing nothing, he enjoys being outside chasing anything that moves.
